During the pandemic, we all came together to clap for the heroes who kept our NHS going. However, after years of Conservative under-investment, the future of the NHS is at risk.
Across the country people are waiting weeks for a simple GP referral, ambulances can take hours to arrive, people are even having to do their own dentistry because they can't get an appointment.
All we have had from the Conservatives is a string of broken promises.
The Liberal Democrats have achievable and fully costed plans to tackle this national crisis in healthcare. A plan that will emphasise the prevention of illness and disease, focusing on children’s health.
We want to restore NHS funding to 2015 levels, with money set aside for local communities experiencing the worst health inequalities.
Sevenoaks needs an MP who will work tirelessly to fix these problems. Prevention and cure must go hand in hand. It's time to fix the damage done to the NHS. It's time for change.
