Ukonu launches Election Campaign for Gravesham

At a lively meeting of Gravesham Lib Dem members, Ukonu Obasi began his campaign to become the next MP for Gravesham.

Ukonu lives in Gravesend. He is a Public Health Specialist with years of experience working in the NHS, local government and the civil service. He has designed and delivered services to improve the health and well being of communities across the country. Currently, he is a Lecturer, training the next generation of Healthcare managers who will run our health system.

He made a very well-received speech at Lib Dem conference in September, on the need to give much stronger support to the NHS and social care. 'These are key priorities for the £50 billion Remain Bonus when we have stopped Brexit,' he said.
