BAT AND BALL - WORK ABOUT TO START

South Eastern Railways have told us that work is about to start on essential repairs on the station, to fix the floors and roof, to stop water running into the foundations from the platform, and to make the building usable. This is the first step in handing over the station to Sevenoaks Town Council, we hope on a lease for 25 years. Then, if we get a Heritage Grant, this listed building and be opened up for the Community. Watch this space!
