It's Time For Change

For the first time in 20 years, the local elections are a big opportunity for Sevenoaks. Across the District we've found one constant message on the doorsteps - it's Time for Change;
It's Time for a Council which:
- listens to and works with the whole community, rather than making decisions in a tiny one party clique
- champions safer streets rather than resisting every suggestion from schools and residents for slower traffic
- plans development properly for the future, rather than leaving us at the mercy of developers with a failed local plan
- invests in affordable homes rather than cheating its own rules on its own housing developments, as they did in Swanley
- works to protect our streams, lakes and ponds from sewage spills rather than just cleaning up after the water company failures
- works to help us all limit climate change across the whole community, rather than just focus on Net Zero for the Council
- looks after your money and our services, rather than overspending by £3million at Swanley leisure centre, followed up by £2million more to save Sevenoaks and Edenbridge.
- uses the amazing talent of all the people in Sevenoaks, not just a tiny group of Tory politicians
Sevenoaks Liberal Democrats say they are ready to lead a council which brings our communities together, and builds a better Sevenoaks
