Ukonu Obasi, the Lib Dem Candidate for Gravesham

Ukonu Obasi is a public health specialist with decades of experience of working in the health sector. He has worked in the NHS, Civil service, local authorities and charities, designing, implementing and evaluating healthcare services across the UK.

He is currently a healthcare management academic, helping to train the current and next generation of healthcare managers. He is a local resident and strong champion of health and mental health. He has worked with his alumni association to support the delivery of knowledge transfer in medical and healthcare training in Nigeria and has helped charities and businesses in the UK to grow by providing free consultation and advice.

He loves to travel, play tennis, basketball and cycling and recently got married to his partner, just before the general election was called.
