December 6, 2018 6:45 PM

A new, detailed poll from Best for Britain, released on 5 December 2018, shows how public opinion has shifted towards Remain trhoughout the country. Sevenoaks and Swanley voted to Leave on 2016 but now has a majority for Remain. The full details are downloadable here.

In the Referendum, 46.1% voted Remain, but the current figure would be 50.3%.

That may be a fairly modest shift, but in our two other local constituencies, although they still have a majority for Leave, the shift towards Remain has been even more dramatic. Dartford has gone from 36% Remain in 2016 to 43.6% now. Gravesham has moved from 34.6% to 42.6%. All details from Brexit Shift 2.0 (December 2018), published by Best for Britain, Avaaz and Hope Not Hate.

Above all, there is a large majority in each seat to give voters the Final Say in a People's Vote:

% Wanting a Final Say

Dartford: 62.9%

Gravesham 62.2%

Sevenoaks and Swanley 60.7%
