Adjusting Text Size

Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE) Version 6

Although this help has been written for version 6, a very similar process can be used for other versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Using a Mouse

  1. Click on the View drop down menu item at the top of your browser window
  2. A drop down menu appears
  3. Move the cursor down the list and hover over the menu item 'Text Size'
  4. When a sub menu flies out, click on the appropriate size required

Using the Keyboard

  1. Hold the 'Alt' key down and press briefly the letter 'v'
  2. A drop down menu appears
  3. Release the 'Alt' key
  4. Press the letter 'x'
  5. When a sub menu flies out, type the letter that is underlined for the appropriate size required

Netscape Version 7

Although this help has been written for version 7, a very similar process can be used for other versions of Netscape.

Using a Mouse

  1. Click on the View drop down menu item at the top of your browser window
  2. A drop down menu appears
  3. Move the cursor down the list and hover over the menu item 'Text Zoom Size'
  4. When a sub menu flies out, click on the appropriate size required

Using the Keyboard

  1. Hold the 'Alt' key down and press briefly the letter 'v'
  2. A drop down menu appears
  3. Release the 'Alt' key
  4. Press the letter 'z'
  5. When a sub menu flies out, type the letter or number that is underlined for the appropriate size required
